Although very common at weddings in southern Spain, flamenco is less common here in the US. Weddings of Distinction member, Anthony, plays a contemporary flamenco style, taking elements of jazz and classical and fusing them into traditional flamenco. SilverWood began in 1995 as a guitar/flute duo and since then has mushroomed into a versatile musical ensemble, with two to seven musicians, including a vocalist.
